Bonza.com was founded in 1998 in Seattle, as an online store for cool and hard to find headware from skate, snow and lifestyle brands. We even did our own line of caps. That continued until the fall of 1999 when the online store was put on hold because I co-founded another company in San Diego called skateboard.com, which was one of the largest online retailers of skateboard shoes, apparel and hard goods. I stayed with skateboard.com until 2005, at which time I decided a change in pace was in order and moved here to Austin, Texas. Fast forward until July 2007, which is when I decided to take Bonza.com out of hibernation.
The new idea for Bonza.com was conceived out of the frustration in having to scour the web for hours in order to get the latest news on Skateboarding, street culture, art, tattoos and music. From that, the idea was born to start a website that would bring all of our interest into one website. Bonza.com will be the perfect platform for companies, artists and designers to showcase their products through features and interviews.
