You know we’re Bad Brains fans around here. So, when we saw this video with Darryl Jenifer, we had to share. The video is a Bad Brains production and was made to help promote their Vans collaboration. The video features some great band footage as well as  Darryl chatting about the bands beginning.

Andy Howell and his Artsprojekt team have been busy lately. They’ve created a new line called Labz. Labz is a crowdsourcing model, think threadless and designbyhumans. In their first edition (0001) the’ve teamed with Australia designer Luca Ionescu of Like Minded Studios for the design and  L.A.-based fine clothier Drifter Industries for the thread. The tees are available for a limited time, and in limited quantity. At a price point of $49.99, we’re not sure if Labz is for everyone. But if you don’t mind paying $50 for a tee, then check out LABZ.

The collabs are getting ridiculous these days. Louis Vuitton and Stephen Sprouse team up for the very limited edition (3) graffiti skateboard and trunk that will sell for $8,250. They also hope to sell 70 graffiti edition t-shirts for $250 each. All for the launch of the new Stephen Sprouse collection in Louis Vuitton’s new Soho flagship store. It is for a good cause however:

Proceeds will benefit Free Arts NYC, which provides underserved children throughout New York City with special arts programs. Vuitton is also making an undisclosed donation to the Sprouse Estate, as well as the Stephen Sprouse Memorial Scholarship Fund at the National Academy for Design here.

Seems like everyone is teaming up for collabs now. This time around it’s Thrasher Magazine and Gallery 1950. They’ve come together to produce a capsule collection consisting of t-shirts, travel bags and coffee mugs. Look for them to drop in early January.

Japanese Skate brand T19 has teamed up with clothing brand Medorra for some hot new skateboard wheels. Collaborations are hitting on all skateboard products, from decks, to trucks, wheels and tees. Look for lots more cool collabs to hit in 2009.
