Popdeck.com has been around for a minute and has recently released there first offerings. Popdeck is an ongoing skateboard deck design contest. Anyone can submit a design and then the website members vote for their favorite design. The design with the most votes wins $200 (currently) and gets a free deck. I love the concept of popdeck and I also appreciate the fact that they screen print their decks and don’t do transfers. One of the things that bothers me in regards to collectible decks these days: the majority of them are made with transfers. It’s basically a giant sticker. Popdeck screens all of their decks. I look forward to checking out their new designs weekly.
